Founder & Principal Consultant
Lorinda Santana is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Remy's Consulting, a strategic advisory firm dedicated to helping nonprofits, NGOs, and mission-driven organizations build the infrastructure necessary for sustainable growth and long-term funding success.
With more than 18 years of experience in nonprofit development, communications, and grant funding, Lorinda has helped organizations secure over $50 million in funding and has trained more than 5,000 nonprofit professionals, leaders, and community advocates across the United States and internationally.
A trusted partner of TechSoup, Lorinda is known for her practical, systems-based approach to funding readiness. Rather than focusing solely on grant writing, she helps organizations strengthen the foundational elements funders evaluate before making investments, including program design, organizational systems, data collection, strategic planning, and funding readiness.
Lorinda is the creator of the Grant-Ready Hive™ Framework, a seven-pillar model designed to help organizations build the capacity, infrastructure, and sustainability needed to compete successfully for funding opportunities and create lasting community impact.
Prior to launching Remy's Consulting, Lorinda served in nonprofit leadership roles and spent years training organizations, developing programs, and guiding teams through complex funding and organizational development challenges. Her work has supported organizations across education, health, disability services, community development, youth programming, international development, and social impact sectors.
Lorinda holds a Master's Degree in Communications and Marketing and a Bachelor's Degree in English Writing and Rhetoric. She is an AGWA Certified Grant Writer and Certified Grant Writing Specialist. Her expertise has been featured through organizations including TechSoup, SCORE, the SBA, American Express, SUCCESS Magazine, and numerous nonprofit and professional development programs.
As an educator, consultant, and advocate, Lorinda believes that sustainable funding begins long before an application is written. Her mission is to help organizations build the strategy, systems, and confidence needed to grow with intention and create meaningful change in the communities they serve.
Jhonantony Santana Director of Latin America Operations
Jhonantony Santana serves as Director of Latin America Operations for Remy's Consulting, where he leads the firm's work with nonprofits, NGOs, community organizations, and social impact initiatives throughout Latin America.
Holding a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Jhonantony brings a unique combination of operational leadership, business strategy, creative communication, and cross-cultural relationship building. As a bilingual professional fluent in both English and Spanish, he serves as the primary bridge between Remy's Consulting and many of the organizations we support across Latin America.
In his role, Jhonantony oversees client communications, project logistics, partnership development, marketing initiatives, and operational coordination for Spanish-speaking organizations. He works closely with nonprofit leaders, community-based organizations, and NGO teams to ensure they have access to the resources, guidance, and support necessary to strengthen their programs and expand their impact.
Beyond his work with Remy's Consulting, Jhonantony is the President of Go8 Skate Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth through skateboarding, mentorship, education, leadership development, and community engagement. Through innovative programming and positive role models, the organization creates opportunities for young people to build confidence, resilience, and lifelong skills while fostering safe and inclusive communities.
As a graphic artist and creative strategist, Jhonantony also contributes to branding, visual communications, marketing campaigns, and outreach initiatives that help organizations communicate their mission more effectively and connect with the communities they serve.
His passion for service, leadership, and community development continues to shape Remy's Consulting's growing presence throughout Latin America, helping organizations strengthen their foundations and create meaningful, lasting change.
